Bringing home a GSD or Malinois puppy is a big commitment. These breeds are intelligent, sensitive, and demand that you stay a step ahead. Our puppy training isn't just about 'sit' and 'stay'—it’s about breed-specific life skills. We focus on building calm focus, preventing reactivity, and instilling the solid foundations your dog needs to thrive.

If your high-drive dog feels overwhelming, overstimulated, or 'too much,' you aren't alone. Most of the time, what looks like aggression is actually a nervous system in overdrive. Adam specialises in helping owners of reactive GSDs and Belgian Malinois regain control. We don't use quick fixes or force; we address the root cause of the behaviour to create lasting change.
•The 6-Week Reactive Dog Reset
•Breed-Aware Behaviour Support
•Personalised Transformation Plans
We specialise in helping German Shepherd and Malinois owners build calm control before behaviour spirals.
It's structured, breed-aware support designed specifically for high-drive working breeds. We focus on foundations, prevention, and structured progression.
Please note, we are not currently taking on human-directed aggression cases.

When a rescue dog we were rehabilitating was attacked in 2019 by one of our own dogs and had to be put down, everything shifted. We realised we didn't understand what we thought we did. That moment pushed us to dig deeper into canine behaviour, psychology, and what actually happens in a dog's nervous system when they're reactive. We lived through an unimaginable trauma and wanted to ensure it never happened again.

Adam had always loved GSDs, but we thought they were too much work. After much research we brought home Chewie (pictured), and then found a breeder with Vayda, and suddenly we had two pups at the same time. It was absolute chaos.
Losing Chewie to a dog attack whilst on walk and then raising Vayda's litter taught us something we couldn't learn any other way: these breeds aren't difficult because they're aggressive or stubborn. They're difficult because they're intelligent, sensitive, and they demand that you be a step ahead of them at all times. They've taught us more than any course ever could.

We were raised on the belief that control and dominance were the answer. What we've learned from working with hundreds of reactive dogs, and from living with our own pack, is that the nervous system doesn't respond to force.
Dogs that are reactive aren't disobedient. They're anxious. They're triggered. Their adrenaline and cortisol are running high, and they literally cannot think their way out of it in that moment. Once you understand that, everything changes.

We help owners understand their dogs and let them see things from their dog's perspective instead of just their own. Louise helps them build the foundations that prevent reactivity from spiralling in the first place whilst Adam focuses on regaining control once it's been lost.
When an owner comes to us desperate and overwhelmed, we always tell them the same thing: you're not doing anything wrong. This isn't your fault. And it will be okay. We'll go at your pace, and we're with you every step of the way.

We have both worked with countless dogs, of all ages and breeds. We live with three GSDS, a Malinois, and two GSD/Mal crosses (not forgetting our Bernedoodle).
Louise is a Level 4 Certified Dog Trainer, accredited with Will Atherton, has been mentored by Jacob Morgan from Lancashire Canine Academy, is Canine First Aid trained and is committed to ongoing professional development.
But more importantly, we live what you're dealing with every single day.
You'll move from feeling overwhelmed and reactive to confident and in control. Your dog will show measurable calm, focus, and responsiveness in real-world situations. And you'll have the knowledge to maintain it long-term.
Weeks 1-2: Foundation & Assessment
We establish baseline behaviour, identify triggers, and introduce the core principles your dog needs to understand.
Weeks 3-4: Building Control
You'll start seeing measurable shifts. Your dog will show increased focus on you, better response to commands, and noticeably lower arousal in triggering situations.
Weeks 5-6: Real-World Application
We test everything in real scenarios. You'll walk your dog past triggers you've been avoiding. You'll handle situations that used to stress you out. You'll feel genuinely confident.
By the end, you won't just have a trained dog. You'll have a relationship where you feel like you're actually in control.
We don't work with every dog owner who applies, and we don't take on every reactive dog. Here's why.
Our approach works best with owners who are ready to understand their dog's nervous system and commit to the changes that come with that understanding. We've found that when someone comes to us expecting quick fixes or traditional punishment-based training, we're usually not the right fit for each other.
That's not judgment on them. It's just honesty. We'd rather tell you upfront that we might not be the answer than take you on, waste your time and money, and fail to deliver.
When you apply, we review your situation carefully. We're looking at whether our approach matches what your dog actually needs. If we're not confident we can help, we'll tell you that. If we think you'd be better served by a different approach or a different trainer, we'll say so.
And if we think we can genuinely help? That's when we book the clarity call and start the real conversation.
If you're ready to take that first step towards a better understanding of your dog, fill in our form here, tell us your situation and let's have a chat.
